Amatuer photography

I like taking pictures, but I'm not a professional by any means. I don't want to be a professional, not really. But I would like to be able to take a decent photograph, like a really good photograph, of my family or friends whenever I feel like taking pictures. I took a little digital photography class at EAC, but I do not feel like I really learned anything about photography. We learned a few things about how to edit our photographs in Photoshop. I know there's like 3rds and that's about it. I'm not even remotely good at thirds, but I do try to think of thirds when I take a picture. I like looking around me and seeing beautiful things everywhere, and I want to capture what I see on film, but it's harder than just taking a simple photograph. I think people who do take amazing photographs are awesome because they know how to capture the beauty that is all around us. I am just going to keep researching and trying to take photographs. My camera is a little limited, but it does a few things. I went out the other day and there were beautiful tree blossoms everywhere. I love, love, love tree blossoms. I will just have to keep trying to take pictures and learning as much as I can. Here are my blossoms/flowers.
