End of School... Beginning of Summer

Well school is officially over. We were not very sure whether we would make it through. Nick was very stressed right until the end. I was also stressed because I had a huge project due at the end as well. We are very happy its over! I will hopefully be getting As in my online classes. Most likely not an A from my Aims class, I might've missed a few classes, or assignments. Nick and I both will be taking summer classes. I'm actually excited about mine. I will be doing observations in a Daycare. I started taking this class last Fall but was completely over stressed and got really behind after jury duty so I dropped it. I also did not care for the teacher very much, and apparently she is usually the only one who teaches it. I wasn't able to enroll in it this spring, it's one of those classes that fill up super fast. I found out they were offering it during the summer, and it was with a different teacher. I waited until midnight to enroll in it so I would be one of the first ones. I hoping to get some kind of financial aid but I'm not sure I'll qualify since I'm not going to be full time.

I still have not found a job. I'm getting pretty discouraged! I have had a few interviews but have heard nothing back. I keep calling places again and again. I will just have to keep trying.

We are very excited about moving soon. We went to look at the apartment last week and it's wonderful. It's bigger and smaller in different ways. The kitchen is a lot smaller, and it has ugly green counter tops. It's bigger because it has a balcony and a big storage closet. I found a very cute shower curtain, our current apartment has a sliding shower door. This curtain has every color of towels that we have except white. When we got married we got a wide variety of different colored towels: light blue, purple, beige, white. Sooo I found a shower curtain that has all of the colors in it. I'm very excited about this, I love shower curtains they give so much color and life to your bathroom. Did I mention our apartment has a sky light. It really brightens up the room. It's on the 4th floor, and it has air conditioning. We've decided to get rid of our kitchen table. It won't fit very well. Since our apartment has a balcony and a sliding glass window it pretty much takes up all our room for furniture, we're going to be getting rid of a desk and our table. We have been looking for a smaller table, and we've finally decided we want to get a folding table and folding chairs. We found some really nice ones at Target and Walmart. They look like real chairs and tables. We like this idea because then we can just fold everything up and put it in our large closet. We haven't figured out the lighting yet. There aren't any ceiling lights, there's a few light fixtures on the walls but that's about it. We have one tall light stand but we want to have more light. Our apartment now isn't very bright with just the one light. We get to move in on the 13th, so Friday, but we have until the end of the month to be moved out of our current apartment.

Enough about our apartments, I really want a piano! I have a new calling, primary pianist. I would really like to be able to practice whenever I want! I found one online that is $450, pretty good for a piano, but expensive for a poor person. I want it so bad though!! I really miss being able to just sit down and play whenever I want. It hurts my heart just a little. Piano has always been a way for me to relax, think about my feelings, and even express my feelings. I really miss it. I won't even be close to a piano anymore when we move. This is the piano I want http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/msg/2347168788.html isn't it pretty! It's electric so we can get it up to our apartment without breaking anyones back.

Nick is going to trumpet fest at the end of the month and my parents are coming up to visit me! I'm so excited! I feel bad though cause they're driving and it's expensive right now with gas prices.

I'm planning on doing some fun things this summer, so I will keep you posted.
