California in the Winter

It's not technically winter but I'd say that Thanksgiving is closer to winter than it is to fall. It's the last week of November, and for Colorado it means snow. Our drive was cold and scary. I was literally singing "Lead me guide me, walk beside me." Over and over and over again in my head while we were trying to make it through the snow storm and icy roads in Wyoming. I pretty much said a bazillion prayers in my head too. I am pretty sure we will NEVER do that again. Seeing family was really awesome though. We pretty much just relaxed the whole time. When we first got there on Saturday evening we had to go to In and Out, it's pretty much a sin if we don't go when it's so readily available to us. The one in Rocklin is actually right next to a Krispy Kreme, which is bad for my weight but awesome for my taste buds. Sunday Nick was volunteered to teach a class. He used his Dad's classical guitar for the class. We ended up taking it home with us because his Dad never played it. That makes 3 guitars we currently own. I can't remember which day it was but either Tuesday or Wednesday we went on a walk at a golf course that Nick's dad likes to golf at. Just driving around California was beautiful. I'm pretty sure California is never not beautiful. Everything is green, the trees are bright reds, yellows, and oranges. It was pretty. Near the golf course are some really big houses. Like mansion-esque houses. It would be nice to live in one someday. On Tuesday night we went to the Sacramento Temple. It's so beautiful, like I said California is beautiful. I love this temple. It has a sort of water theme to it because of the water in the area, or something like that. I always love going to the temple! It just reaffirms everything that I know and believe in. When we were driving back Saturday after Thanksgiving we managed to meet up with Nick's younger brother and his wife, and their new baby. We finally got to meet little Lilly. All in all it was a good trip even though driving it is horrible. Now for the pictures
